What should I do if a sprinkler head is accidentally damaged?

Do not attempt to repair or replace a sprinkler head yourself. Shut off the system water supply at the main control valve if the head is leaking, and call a licensed fire protection contractor immediately. Operating a system with a damaged head puts the entire building at risk.
